Subject: Major Milestone!!!

So maybe it isn't exactly major, but I'm proud.

We've now passed the number of 15 users! yay~

Also, we have 1000+ posts and 100+ topics!

I'll try to keep my joy short enough.

Our forum is in a -random- category of forum listings for forummotion. (basically, a ranking system for a certain number of forums and we're doing pretty well.)
[Remember that these stats constantly change]


# of topics - 11 (we just need like a few more topics to get into the top 10!

# of posts - 10 (we're clost to 9!!!!)

# of users - 39 (Don't make me cry guys, we're on the second page of listings) All we need is 6 more users to make it to the first page. I'm sure we can get 6 more people!!!!

the final category is points. I do not know how they are calculated but we're doing pretty well! Our rank is number 8!

not exciting. But it is! IT IS! And I'm so excited to be sending out a
newsletter I'm probably gonna break my fingers from typing this!

've been dead for about a week~ish cuz I was sick. But I'm back. BACK I SAY

God..what did I eat? Maybe it was a piece of blah. Or maybe I'm hyper cuz of my week doing nothing. It was boring.

Anyway,
we had a good response to the last newsletter, we got some good
feedback via the contact button. Remember guys, if you want to give us
some feedback on the forum, you can do it using the contact button. You
don't have to be logged in to do this. The message you send will be
sent to the admins and mods so we all get to read it. Keep sending in
your feedback! We want to know how you feel!

Roaring Rainbows is..nearing our FIRST ANNIVERSARY! YAY *confetti*

27th is the day! Why I am I letting you guys know? Well, we've come a
long way since October. We're still a small forum, but we've really
come a long way ^_^

Anyway, we're starting the party early!! How so, you ask?

Roaring Rainbows 1st Anniversary Celebration, Part 1!

What's part one? A BANNER CONTEST.
There
will be more details released shortly, but basically we want either a
little button or signature to promote RR. It can be animated with
flash, drawn on MS paint, sketched by hand, whatever you want. I'm
thinking the deadline will be in March (maybe the 9th, which is the
second Monday) but I'm not sure yet.
Get those artsy thinking caps on!

NEWSLETTER NUMBER NINE

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to let you know, that there's been a new update from forumotion! (Very exciting, yes?)
But
since it's such a new update, it's very buggy, and I'm trying to figure
it all out. (Basically, I have to activate all the new updates)
Some new things to look forward to are: Muliti Quote, a reputation system, a points system, a new layout for profiles, etc.

I'll
be putting up a sort of tutorial in the announcements section soon, so
just be careful, and don't press any buttons if you don't know what
they do! XD

One of the things I'm excited about is being able to
post on people's profiles now! Also, the friends/foes thing has been
updated. When you add friends, it actually shows it on their profiles!
And you have to accept friend requests now.

Now, enough about the update. Let's talk about the BANNER CONTEST! If you have no idea what I'm talking about, read this thread.
The deadline was March 9th, but nobody posted up any banners!! *cries in a corner*
It's
okay though, because I know some of you guys were working on banners.
So, remember, post them up ASAP! and if you had no idea about the
contest, or forgot about it and would still like to make a banner, or
have a half complete banner, please LET ME KNOW so that we can wait for
you

Okay, so maybe you don't wait.
But I love writing them!

So, as usual I have forgotten everything I was going to say while typing the title. >.>

Well, let me see how much I remember.

First
off, the new updates. You may have seen some new things on the forum.
Actually, didn't I send out a newsletter about it? Anyway, there's a
topic up in the Announcements/News section explaining the updates that
you guys need to know how to use.

Please remember to vote for
the BANNER CONTEST! Yes, it's time to vote now! If you would still like
to put up a banner, you may do so, and the poll will be edited to
include your entry. To view and vote for your favourite banner, see the
event thread in the problems/suggestions section.

Something not
forum related exactly, but still important: There has been news going
around about a virus called the "Conflicker" virus. Apparently it's
probably affected millions of computers around the world, but hasn't
been activated yet. This virus is supposed to activate on April 1st
(yes, April fools day) So people are wondering if it's really a crazy
virus, or just the world's biggest April fool's prank. Either way, be
careful for the next two days please! Virus scan your computer, get
that update from Microsoft (no matter how annoying the updates are) and
be...careful!

Having a problem with the forum? Can't post? Can't
log in? Have you read..the FAQ? Trust me, the FAQ really can answer a
lot of your questions.
If the FAQ does not help, you can PM
super~awesome~bot (preferably) The option to PM and admin or mod is
still there, but at least try to PM super~awesome~bot first and wait a
few days.
If you can't log in or don't know how to send a PM you can
always use the CONTACT button at the bottom of any page on the forum.
This button will send your message to all the forum staff (Admins and
Mods)
Finally, if you can't even get on the forum, or there is some
sort of serious issue, you can now EMAIL us directly. (almost). You can
email super~awesome~bot for support.

Still confused about
super~awesome~bot? Don't be. He's like the support bot. Problems are
reported to him so that he can try to fix it. No, he's not an actual
robot I built (I wish) but, he's close enough

Finally, guys, I WANT FEEDBACK PLEASE!
Am I annoying?

Is the forum running unually slow?
