Update

NEW UPDATE!

Forumotion has created a new update:

On threads with more than one page of posts, the first post will be shown automatically at the top of the page.

Hopefully this will be a good reminder to people on what you are posting to, and in the forum games, it shows as a good example to follow for new people.

That is all

Well, that and that I haven't been posting on the forum in a long time so I suck. But I'm back.

Reputation System

As explained in the recent update, we have had a reputation system added to the forum. Now, it has been up and running for quite a while, but i haven`t noticed a lot of movement with posters` reputation. This post is mostly to encourage people to voice their opinions about posts, and explain when it is best to do so.

Say you`re reading through a post, and you burst out laughing, or maybe have one of those `hell yes! I so totally agree with that!` moments. Don`t just post `Omg, that made me ...

The Roaring Rainbows staff have recently decided to implement a specific text for moderation purposes only. This purple bolded text is only usable by moderators and administrators of Roaring Rainbows whom are fully permitted with their role (their name appearing in the selected font for their rank). This text is to be respected as a symbol that a correctional move has been made by the authoritive figure to discipline a member, delete unneeded material, or move misplaced material.

Wondering why your comment was deleted? Confused about why your topic was moved or removed? Curious on why you've gotten more warning points.

Don't just bother one person with your problems. Spread the wealth around to all of the admins and mods, or better yet, send them all to super~awesome~bot! Your comment was deleted, then you can't figure out how to make a poll, then you obtain warning points, don't just send all your questions to one person (we have other things to worry about).

Second, If you are going to report a post REPORT THE RIGHT ONE. I can see in that same topic a post that would make more sense to report (But still should not be reported)

Please..just..if ...

Rather than bug you guys I thought I'd just paste parts from this article from forumotion:

Quote:2. Social Networking sites are a great way to advertise for free. Do you have facebook/myspace/bebo etc? If so add your banner, add a link, add a description, its your profile and you can use it how you like. (dont forget to ask members to do this too!)

3. MSN. See that little space under your name for a personal message? add your sites link to it and ask your members to as well.
